The GOTS-certified organic label sold me, and the fabric really does feel different from the cheaper blankets we had before — softer, with a bit of weight that helps it drape. Our daughter sleeps in it every night now, and it's held up fine after a month of washes.
I didn't expect a receiving blanket to feel this soft, but the Egyptian combed cotton is genuinely buttery against my newborn's cheeks. It's been through four washes already and hasn't pilled or lost that blue heart print.
Washed it twice before using and it came out even softer, no pilling at all. The blue hearts are sweet without being too babyish, though it's a bit smaller than I pictured for swaddling.
