The weave on this is tight and flat, no shedding at all, which I didn't expect from a hand-loomed cotton piece. It's heavier than the listing photos suggested, so it stays put under the coffee table instead of bunching up. The undyed color is a soft oatmeal, warmer than plain white.

I was worried undyed cotton would feel scratchy, but this is soft underfoot even without a pad. It's made from leftover scrap cotton, which I love, and the natural color hides dust way better than my old dark rug.
