This small rug is made of 100% organic Egyptian cotton. All of our organic cotton rugs are meticulously hand-loomed with leftover scraps from our clothing production. Woven from 100% pure organic Egyptian cotton, they're extra durable and get softer with each wash, making them perfect for play or for decoration in the nursery, bathrooms or any room in the house! Each handmade woven rug is finished with decorative tassels on two ends, and takes two days to hand weave!

This smaller size rug makes the best natural play mat at home, as wall décor, or even to take to the park! Its soft surface also makes it perfect and comfortable for diaper changes on the go.


CARE

Please follow the specific care instructions on your rug for the best wear

  • Machine wash warm with like colors
  • Do not bleach
  • Machine dry warm/hot. To avoid excess shrinkage, lay out flat to dry.
  • Include a bath towel to speed up drying time
  • Love your goods and the planet with biodegradable detergents free of phosphates, bleach, optimal whiteners, chlorine or petroleum based surfactants

The organic Egyptian cotton is noticeably softer than the cheap poly mats I've had before, and it hasn't shed a bit after two washes. It's small, so I use it beside the bed rather than as a full area rug, but the hand-loomed texture looks way nicer than the price suggests.
