The muslin is so breathable that my daughter barely notices she's wearing it, even on hot afternoons. The chin ties hold tight enough that it survived a whole morning of her yanking at it in the sandbox.

The wide brim actually stays put when my son runs around the park, and the chin ties keep it from flying off in the wind. I've washed it a few times already and the sage windowpane print hasn't faded at all.

The muslin is so light that my daughter forgets she's wearing it, even in full afternoon sun. The wide brim actually shades her whole face and neck while she crawls around the park.
